Easter Vigil

After Reading 7 (with Baptisms)

Psalm text (Salmo 41, 3. 5bcd; Salmo 42, 3-4)

Estoy sediento del Dios que de la vida.

Como el vanado busca
el agua de los ríos,
así, cansada, mi alma
te busca a tu, Dios mío.

Del Dios que de la vida
está mi ser sediento.
¿Cuándo será posible
Ver de nuevo su templo?

Recuerdo cuando íbamos
A casa del Señor,
Cantando, jubilosos,
alabanzas a Dios.

Envíame, Señor, te luz y tu verdad;
que ellas se conviertan en mi guía
y hasta tu monte santo me conduzcan,
allí donde tú habitas

Al altar de Señor me acercaré,
al Dios que es mi alegría,
y a mi Dios, el Señor, le daré gracias
al compás de la citara.

After Reading 7 (with Baptisms)

Psalm text (Ps 42:3, 5 43:3, 4)

Like a deer that longs for running streams, my soul longs for You, my God.

Athirst is my soul for God, the living God.
When shall I go and behold the face of God?

I went with the throng
and led them in procession to the house of God,
amid loud cries of joy and thanksgiving,
with the multitude keeping fertival.

Send forth Your light and Your fidelity;
they shall lead me on
and bring me to Your holy mountain,
to Your dwelling place.

Then will I go in to the altar of God,
the God of my gladness and joy;
then will I give You thanks upon the harp,
O God, my God!
