4th Sunday of Advent (Year C)

Psalm text (Ps 79:2-3,15-16,18-19)

Lord, make us turn to you; let us see your face and we shall be saved.

O shepherd of Israel, hear us,
shine forth from your cherubim throne.
O Lord, rouse up your might,
O Lord, come to our help.

God of hosts, turn again, we implore,
look down from heaven and see.
Visit this vine and protect it,
the vine your right hand has planted.

May your hand be on the man you have chosen,
the man you have given your strength.
And we shall never forsake you again:
give us life that we may call upon your name.

Gospel Verse (Lk 1:38)

I am the servant of the Lord: may his will for me be done.

Psalm text (Ps 80:2-3, 15-16, 18-19)

Lord, make us turn to You. Let us see Your face and we shall be saved.

O shepherd of Israel, hearken,
from Your throne upon the cherubim, shine forth.
Rouse Your power,
and come to save us.

Once again, O Lord of hosts,
look down from Heaven and see;
take care of this vine, and protect what Your right hand has planted,
the Son of Man, Whom You, Yourself, made strong.

May Your help be with the Man of Your right hand,
with the Son of Man, Whom You, Yourself, made strong
Then we will no more withdraw from You.
Give us new life, and we will call upon Your name.
