5th Sunday of Easter (Year C)

Psalm text (Ps 145:8-9,10-11,12-13)

I will praise your name for ever, my king and my God.

The Lord is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
The Lord is good to all,
and his compassion is over all that he has made.

All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord,
and all your faithful shall bless you.
They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom,
and tell of your power.

To make known to all people your mighty deeds,
and the glorious splendour of your kingdom.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and your dominion endures throughout all generations.

Gospel Verse (Jn 13:14)

I give you a new commandment: love one another as I have loved you.

Psalm text (Ps 145:8-9, 10-11, 12-13)

I will praise Your name forever, my King and my God.

The Lord is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger and of great kindness.
The Lord is good to all
and compassionate toward all His works.

Let all Your works give You thanks, O Lord,
and let Your faithful ones bless You.
Let them discourse of the glory of Your kingdom
and speak of Your might.

Let them make known Your might to the children of Adam,
and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom.
Your kingdom is a kingdom for all ages,
Your dominion endures through all generations.
